About this event
2025 Suburban Juneteenth Block Party
Join us for an unforgettable Juneteenth celebration! The block party kicks off at 1:45 PM, giving you time to park, grab a community sing-along brochure for “Lift Every Voice,” and settle in for an afternoon of festivities.
Adults can enjoy a range of activities, from live music and DJ sets to engaging with Black-owned business vendors, and contributing to the community quilt.
For the kids, we’ll have dedicated zones filled with a variety of activities. Plus, there will be opportunities to witness or participate in youth performances.
Are you a black-owned business? Do you or someone you know want to lend your talents? We’re inviting local artists, business owners, and performers to get involved. If you’re interested in contributing to the entertainment lineup or promoting your business, reach out to info@icucommunity.net.

A variety of food trucks and stalls will be available to keep you fueled throughout the day. Complimentary waters will also be handed out on a first-come, first-served basis.
All event spaces are accessible, with shuttle services running from 2 PM to 6 PM and designated parking for individuals with disabilities. ASL interpreters will also be present.
We’ll have cooling stations, and in the event of rain, we’ll move indoors. Pets are welcome on campus, but remember to keep them leashed and out of buildings.
Stay tuned, because we will have the t-shirts below on sale for the event!
