Trial Skills Simulation Program - Manistee
This free, grant-funded program will offer hands-on experience to the participants in all five trial skills:
voir direopening statementscross examinationdirect examinationclosing arguments • voir dire
• opening statements
• cross examination
• direct examination
• closing arguments
This program is being offered at the Manistee Downtown Education Center, 400 River St. Manistee, MI 49660, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm each day.
Participants will earn 21 hours of CLE credit for participation in the full program, and the program will satisfy the skills training requirements of Standard 1. You must attend the entire program in order to receive CLE credits.
To be eligible for participation in the program, you must be a licensed attorney representing indigent defendants within the State of Michigan. You must plan to participate in the entire three-day program.
This program is limited to 18 participants. A waitlist will be compiled once the program is full.
