Darla Moore School of Business/University of South Carolina Darla Moore School of Business/University of South Carolina We are pleased to announce a 1.5-day Journal of Operations Management (JOM) mini-conference to be held at the University of South Carolina’s Darla Moore School of Business on February 7 - 8, 2025.
This event will consist of workshop and panel sessions designed to incubate research in JOM’s departments and upcoming special issues. It will provide a venue in which to discuss some key opportunities and developments such as registered report reviews (3R), perspectives on the role and positioning of theoretical arguments in OM, associated expectations and responsibilities of developmental reviews w.r.t. theory, and guidelines for the role of AI in research development. The detailed agenda is still being finalized and will be distributed at a later date.
Due to capacity limitations, the mini conference will be open to the first 100 registrants. The registration fee is $100 and will cover most meals. The deadline for conference registration is January 24, 2025.
