Austin Witchfest 2025
Austin Witchfest Inc. is an Austin-based 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization dedicated to the celebration, education and practice of witchcraft, in all it's forms. Held in the indoor spaces of the Palmer Events Center, near the heart of Austin and next to the beautiful spaces of Butler Park, we hope that you will join us for a day full of workshops, rituals, shopping, divination, entertainment and more! Come help us celebrate our 5 year anniversary! Please read fully to understand what to expect and we hope to see you there!
Venue:
Originally an airplane hangar purchased in 1940 by the City of Austin, the Palmer Events Center (PEC) was established in 1998 after a board voted for an entire renovation, culminating in a multi-purpose venue next to Butler Park with a gorgeous view of downtown Austin. Powered 100% by renewable energy from Austin Energy's Green Choice Program, PEC's massive spaces, including five conference rooms and balcony on the second floor, and close proximity to many hotels makes it a great venue for our festival.

Early Bird tickets: $10 (on sale through 12/31/24)
Presale General Admission: $15 (on sale 01/01/25-05/09/25)
General Admission: $20 ( on sale 05/10/25)
Ticket purchases include admission to all rituals, workshops and entertainment unless otherwise specified (i.e. specialty workshops ). All sales final. Children 12 and under enter for free as long as they are accompanied by a paid ticket holder. The purchase of an admission ticket does not include parking.

Parking:
Parking is available for a $10 fee next to the Palmer Events Center in their four-story, 1,200-space garage. It has two entrances, one on Riverside Dr. and another on Barton Springs Rd. Mobility-impaired parking is available on each level of the garage. Spaces with this distinction are close to the elevators. And vehicles with military specialty plates receive complimentary parking. Mat AurynMat Auryn is an accomplished and award-winning author known for his best-selling books, which have been translated into over thirteen languages. As a retired professional psychic and Bay Area-based Witch and Occult teacher with experience as an initiate of multiple Witchcraft traditions and esoteric orders, Mat's teachings draw on a wealth of knowledge and disciplines. Mat Auryn Mat Auryn Danielle DionneDanielle Dionne is a psychic medium, witch, herbalist, homesteader, and author. She is a High Priestess in the Temple of Witchcraft Tradition, serving as Ministerial Deputy for the Scorpio Ministry. Danielle runs Seed and Sickle, an online space offering sessions, mentorship, and consultation on death care support. She is the author of "Magickal Mediumship" and "Chronically Magickal".
Danielle Dionne Danielle Dionne Jason Mankey Jason Mankey is a third-degree High Priest, and prolific Witchcraft author (nine books and counting). A bit of a nomad in his younger years, Jason has lived in both the Midwest and the American South, and currently resides in California's Silicon Valley, where he helps run two local covens with his wife Ari. Jason has spent the last twenty-five years of his life researching the Horned God, Witchcraft & magickal history, and the occult influences in rock and roll music. Jason regularly lectures and leads rituals at Pagan and Witchcraft events in both North America and the United Kingdom. When not practicing, writing about, or studying the Craft Jason can be found spending time with his cats, whisky tasting, and growing sunflowers.
Jason Mankey Jason Mankey Lilith Dorsey Lilith Dorsey M.A., hails from many magickal traditions, including Afro-Caribbean, Celtic, and Indigenous American spirituality. Their traditional education focused on Plant Science, Anthropology, and Film at the University of R.I, New York University, and the University of London, and their magickal training includes numerous initiations in Santeria also known as Lucumi, Haitian Vodoun, and New Orleans Voodoo. Lilith Dorsey is also a Voodoo Priestess and in that capacity has been doing successful magick since 1991 for patrons, is editor/publisher of Oshun-African Magickal Quarterly, filmmaker of the experimental documentary Bodies of Water :Voodoo Identity and Tranceformation,’ co-host of The Pop Occulture Show on youtube, and choreographer/performer for jazz legend Dr. John’s “Night Tripper” Voodoo Show. They have long been committed to providing accurate and respectful information about the African Traditional Religions and are proud to be a published Black author of such titles as 55 Ways to Connect to Goddess, The African-American Ritual Cookbook, Love Magic, Orishas, Goddesses and Voodoo Queens, Water Magic , the newly re-released Voodoo and African Traditional Religion and Tarot Every Witch Way now available.
Lilith Dorsey Lilith Dorsey Thumper ForgeThumper (Horkos) Marjorie Splitfoot Forge is a Gardnerian High Priest, an initiate of the Minoan Brotherhood, an Episkopos of the Dorothy Clutterbuck Memorial Cabal of Laverna Discordia, a recovering alcoholic, and a notary public from Houston, TX. His first book, "Virgo Witch", co-authored with Ivo Dominguez, Jr., is currently available at open-minded bookstores everywhere.
Thumper Forge Thumper Forge Alexis ArredondoAlexis A. Arredondo is an experienced practitioner of various magical traditions. Having grown up on the border of South Texas, he was fascinated by folklore and spiritual folk-practice from a very young age. He learned folk magic and traditional brujería (Mexican witchcraft) from a local bruja (witch) in his hometown, and later embarked on a journey in the sacred healing art of Curanderismo (Mexican folk-healing), inspired by famous healers like Don Pedrito Jaramillo. Alexis also dedicated himself into the cult of the Holy Death and several necromantic systems, including Tantric Aghor Yoga, Brazilian Kimbanda, and Palo Mayombe, in which he is now a Tata Nganga. He co-owns City Alchemist Witch Shop in downtown East Austin and has co-authored two books, "Magia Magia: Invoking Mexican Magic" and "Blood of Brujeria".

In this workshop, lithomancy will be presented in a clear and accessible way, fusing Discordianism and Chaos Magical Theory into a thoroughly modern take on old-timey sortilege. Participants will gain insight into the history, mythology, and practical applications of lithomancy, pick up workable knowledge of Chaos Magic, and have the opportunity to try out this method of divination for themselves.
